There is only a day left until Ipswitch Innovate 2015 and to get you excited for this fun and informative virtual summit, we had the chance to interview some of the speakers prior to their sessions.
Mitchel Weinberger is a Systems Engineer at GeoEngineers, Inc. He is responsible for all server, storage, network, email and security. We asked Mitchel a few questions about his biggest challenges and some other fun topics. Here is what he had to say.
"It would be a lot like WhatsUpGold is right now. I would want to add more application performance monitoring. I know that What'sUpGold offers application performance monitoring, but I just haven't' gotten a chance to look into that yet. So, WhatsUpGold."
"Application performance and bandwidth hogs."
"Read our emails."
"I have a VPN that I can use to connect to WhatsUpGold. We are on Office365, so I have their tool that alerts me to any issues from Office365."
"I get emails from Ziff Davis, TechRepublic, TechNet, and the Exchange team blog. I'm a Microsoft Premier Customer, so I get a lot of emails with information directly from Microsoft at least weekly, sometimes more than that. And colleagues, and webinars, and conferences."
"I'm part of CDW and there is a Yammer group solutions/advisory board (SAB) that I check. Those are mostly Microsoft partners coming up with solutions by combing different products."
"No."
"I don't know. I don't watch it."
"Waiting for the next day to go see it."
"Being disruptive and coming up with new ways to do things better and more efficiently. Finding solutions to problems we didn't know existed."
In Mitchel Weinberger's session, Unified Network & Server Performance Monitoring, he will discuss how IT needs to provide robust support for business critical projects and engineering data being shared across branch offices.
